Written on: Monday April 23, 2012 Message: Let's get some traffic going again on this site.
I have the mandatory sperm helmet and I just
bought (used) some of those "disc wheel)
covers for my existing wheel-set. So I'm planning
on knocking at least 90 minutes off my bike split
at IMC this year, right!? Anyway, I was thinking
of possibly getting a custom paint job on the
helmet and / or the wheel covers. Of course, you
all know it's going to be the Welsh (and
Canadian?) flags. So, willl doing this adversely
affect the aero performance of the either of these
two pieces of equipment. If I just opt for a
sticker / transfer on them, will that be any
different too? If it adds more the 1/10th of a
second over 112 miles, I probably won't do it.
Clyde, Jamie, Jim K, we need to know this
stuff.

course well, but I was under the impression that
the winds could be pretty fierce on that course.
Whatever paint job you get, make sure it is
painfully obvious so I can identify you on course. |
