I'm looking at the Yakima Stick-up. I had a Saris
for the trunk of my car but the bikes seemed to
wobble a fair amount. Does that happen with
hanging bikes from a hitch rack?
Does anyone
have a preference on having a tray rack vs hanging
bikes?
What would you all
recommend?
Thanks! |

me.htm. I have this on my Subaru Outback and
love it!!! Less than 5 minutes to attach it. And
less than a minute to put the bikes on. It's
incredibly sturdy!! Good luck. |

I have a Thule 4-bike rack on a 2 inch hitch.
Not sure model but it can swing out to the side so
you can swing the rear door up without taking the
bikes off. Great rack though it's very heavy and
tough for a small woman to lift.

is highly recommended that you get a tray rack
otherwise you might damage the frame by suspending
the bike and going on a long journey. |

recommend it. It takes just seconds to load the
bikes and they are very secure and stable enroute.
You will need a hitch extension to get the bikes
out past the spare tire. You can find those at
any U-Haul store. |

hanging one but we love the tray. |

Written on: Thursday March 15, 2012 Message: I have a hanging style. I do use a bungie to
stablize the bikes. One thing I like about it is
that it is easy to lube the chain or other
repairs. I have made a way to use it as a repair
stand in my basement shop also. |
