Message: Today was the swimming version of a March Madness work out. 100 100 yard repeats on 100 secs (I was able to keep each one under 90 secs). Four of us from the local YMCA conquered our Madness...could become an annual event. Definitely gave us a good swimming base in preparation for IMCDA.

Message: We did this sort of workout at Christmas time. 100 x 100 meter reapeats on 1:40. What a workout, holding 1:20's /100 m.

Message: I prefer to day dream and enjoy myself when I swim. That sounds like quite a chore. Gliding through a 10K is tough enough anymore.

Message: So 4k under an hour must be fairly casual for either Ian or Steve, eh? Effectively a warm-up for the bike and run. Awesome.
I was quite pleased a couple years ago when I got to 24 at 90 on a 105 start. I wasn't even scratching the surface. ( A poor choice of metaphor.)

Message: I have to say thanks Steve. I thought about your post as I cranked out a few fast 100's this morning.
