Subject: Gait Change at mile 8 By: Michael S.

Written on: Friday February 10, 2012 Message: I noticed today during my run that at about mile 8
that i started to change my gait. it went from a
paralel(that is legs from hips to feet were
straight and even) steady cadence to a bow leged
sway like thing. I know it is jst my body trying
to compensae for strain or stress or weekness or
whatever but it has NEVER happened before. same
shoes, shorts, fuel belt, hydration, route weather
socks, fuel...everything was the same. it did
feel better/more comfortable but i forced myself
to stay with the gait that i usually do. any
insight to this.....not a pressing issue for me
but definatly new one. thanks just curious and a
poor spellerer!!:) |

picked up my cadence a little more and forced
myself to get back to what i normaly run like and
it seemed fine...perhaps i was just tired and
didnt realize it. is it a bad thing when that
happens or should i just go with it??? |
